AKC GOLDEN RETRIEVERS
We are a small USDA liscenced and AKC inspected breeder specializing in quality AKC registered Golden Retrievers. We fell in love with this wonderful breed in 2009 when we brought home our first pair of Goldens, Ben and Penny. We started breeding them, and although we are now several generations down the line from them, they have been the foundation of our bloodlines.
Our Goldens range from dark to light golden in color so we have a wide variety of colors for you to choose from in our puppies. We take pride in the countless hours of care and devotion we give our furry companions. We love our babies and are more concerned about raising a happy healthy puppy than we are about quantity. It is important to us that each dog gets special attention and care each day.
Our lovely puppies are raised in the beautiful rolling ozarks of Northeast Oklahoma. We live on 20 acres in the country so our dogs have plenty of room to run and explore. We live within 5 miles of the Arkansas state line and within 45 minutes of the Northwest Arkansas metropolis.
We also own and operate a growing lawncare business so we are very busy with that in the spring and summer months. As a result, we often do not breed our dogs during that time of year. Most of our puppies are born during the fall and winter months when we have more time to care for them.
Puppies
Our beautiful puppies will come to you with AKC registration papers and a three generation AKC pedigree. They are microchiped with an AKC Reunite microchip so you will also get a form you can fill out to get them registered in the AKC Reunite database. AkcReunite.org has a helpline available 24/7/365 days a year to help find your lost pet as well as many other benefits.
Your new puppy will have at least one full checkup by a liscenced veterinarian to ensure he/she is a healthy puppy before leaving our home. Your puppy will also come current on deworming and vaccinations against parvo, distemper, and kennel cough. Parvo can be a deadly puppy killer so we take vaccinations very seriously. It is vitally important for you to continue your puppies vaccination schedule after you take him/her home. We also offer a written one year health guarantee/warranty with all our puppies as well as a starter bag of puppy food.
Placing a Deposit
Once a new litter is born and determined to be healthy and thriving we will open them up for deposit. We like to wait until the puppies are 5 weeks old to let your family choose your puppy. By then the puppies temperaments will be starting to show more and they will also have had their first round of shots by then. Puppies are chosen in the order deposits were received. We take a $150 deposit to reserve a puppy. Deposits can be made through PayPal or Venmo. Please contact us before placing a deposit to make sure we still have puppies available.
Visiting And Homecoming
We do not allow visitors before the puppies are 5 weeks old. We want to minimize the risk of disease
